The NSL Profile features an aluminium channel with a choice of insert materials for the tread and riser, allowing for a striking, contrasting band of color. Designed to comply with Approved Document M and BS8300:2009+A1:2010 guidelines, it is well-suited for environments where no surface floor coverings or resilient flooring are used.

When selecting insert colors, it is important to consider the Light Reflective Value (LRV) of both the surrounding floor covering and the stair nosing itself. The recommended difference between these values should be greater than 30 for optimal visibility and safety.

The profile includes an external grade Tredsafe Insert made from a special blend of P.V.C., silica quartz, and polymeric plasticiser, providing a durable, homogeneous anti-slip surface suitable for wet and dry conditions. Its three-dimensional pyramid pattern enhances slip resistance.
